Does This Affect Our Reviews?
No. Our editorial content is completely independent of our affiliate relationships. Here's how we ensure this:
- We buy most of our review products ourselves. We don't accept free gear in exchange for positive reviews.
- Our ratings and recommendations are based solely on product performance, value, and suitability for Australian conditions.
- If a product is poor, we say so — even if we could earn a commission by recommending it.
- We recommend products from retailers regardless of whether they have an affiliate program. If the best deal is from a retailer we don't have a partnership with, we'll still point you there.
How to Identify Affiliate Links
Affiliate links on our site typically include buttons or links labelled “Check Price”, “Buy Now”, or “View on [Retailer]”. These links direct you to the retailer's website through our affiliate tracking system.
We also include a small disclosure notice at the bottom of every article that contains affiliate links.
